Introducing the cultural conditions for the effective implementation of a digital workplace strategy
Ricky Somal

The digital workplace gives employees the tools they need to improve their communication, collaboration and connections with each other. Implemented effectively, it also allows organizations to mitigate common risks, adhere to their regulatory compliance mandates and ultimately realize enhanced business value.

People and culture lie at the heart of organizational performance and typically drive both success and failure. This means your culture ultimately determines how and to what extent your employees leverage the digital workplace to connect, communicate and collaborate. The key is to understand how your employees prefer to work. You can then develop a change management plan and digital workplace strategy that aligns to your organizations working culture.

This session outlines the cultural conditions for the effective implementation of a digital workplace strategy capable of driving true cultural change.

From Classroom to Digital: Strategies for Accelerating The Performance of Your People by Blending Technical with Core Business Skills
Simon Wallis

If you, as a learning and talent development leader, are facing the challenge of enhancing the performance of your people by transitioning from classroom to digital, then this session is for you. In fact, in this presentation, one learning solutions provider will share insights on how they tackled three key challenges at once in the space of six months:

1. Re-purposing technical classroom content for a brand new digital learning platform.
2. Blending technical and ’soft skills’ content with the aim of enhancing learner performance and;
3. Growing their own talent at the same time.

In our business, we believe that talented people are the key to unlocking the potential of data. Learning technical skills are a must, of course, but even in data and analytics, they count for very little unless you have the core business skills to manage yourself and influence others. This session will provide you with some key strategies for accelerating the performance of your people through high quality digital, blended and externally verified learning journeys.
